Adelante Healthcare is a private, non-profit organization committed to providing care, regardless of the patients ' ability to pay. We've been serving our community for 30 years and have an opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant in our Buckeye, Wickenburg, and our Surprise Health Centers.

Primarily responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to clinic patients. Will administer drugs, provide various treatments and perform various laboratory tests for patients upon the providers¡¦ orders. Will also translate for staff/providers as needed and may be required to travel to other sites. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Health Center Manager, or designee, and indirect supervision of the Medical Director, in accordance to the rules and regulations of the Board of Medical Examiners.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
Gradation from an approved medical assistant training program
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques
Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring minimal exercise of
independent judgment
Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates, and the general public
Current CPR certification
Excellent business English, spelling, and punctuation skills.
Basic computer efficiency
Valid AZ drivers license

Interview patient to obtain reason for visit: chief complaint, and document on
medical record
Obtain and record the patients¡¦ vital signs according to protocol for patients age.
Prepare exam room and patient for the type of exam to be performed.
