Director of Marketing
Areas of Responsibility
- Lead and manage business intelligence and metrics, obtaining and analyzing:
- Customer base across product lines(demographics, market segments)
- Competitors (assisting product team with competitive benchmarking and tracking
- Ensure consistency in messaging across product lines
- Ensure optimal packaging design across product lines
- Optimize branding strategy for current and future product lines
- Monitor and manage for consistent use of all brands
- Working with product team, determine need for market research and manage the process as needed
- Manage creation of signage, shippers, etc.
- Lead development of any marketing campaigns, managing them to meet initial goals and ROI projections
- Manage staff of two, reporting to VP of Product Management and Supply Chain

This position requires strong business, marketing and strategic thinking skills as well as the ability to drive seamless execution across internal groups and product lines. The role also requires exceptionally strong presence, communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate should be a resourceful leader who can manage people while also driving multiple projects on their own. Qualifications include 7+ years of marketing and/or product management experience, preferably in the mobile category, technology and/or consumer products related business. A business degree with a concentration in Business Management, Finance, or Marketing is ideal; MBA is preferred. Experience in tech-product retail and mobile carrier channels is also a plus, but not required. Some domestic travel is required. Must be capable and willing to thrive in a startup environment.
