Opportunity for a Full Time Laboratory Assistant to join our Stat Lab Department! Performs blood collection and specimen processing. Assists in clerical duties. Performs waived testing as defined by CLIA'88 and moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA'88, under direct supervision. Assists in solving problems arising in the pre-analytical area. Assists with instrument maintenance and inventory management.

Educational Requirements:
AA degree in a chemical, biological science, or laboratory assisting program preferred

Experience Requirements:
Six months' phlebotomy and/or processing experience preferred or recent completion of laboratory assisting program.

License/Registration/Certification:
Phlebotomy certification preferred

Lab Assistant Course Preferred.
