Children's Rehab Services Clinic is seeking a self-motivated individual with referral and authorization experience. This position requires a self-directed, organized individual with the ability to work in a multi-specialty pediatric clinic. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Coding experience preferred. This person will work with a team to obtain prior authorizations, referrals, and scheduling patients.

This fast paced unit requires attention to detail and follow through with documentation of all steps of the authorization process.

Will also be responsible for ensuring patients have been cleared for specialty service office visits; obtaining and issuing referrals for ancillary, consult, radiology or lab visits; receiving approvals for medication formularies, durable medical equipment, home health care and other items or services as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Requirements:

- HS/GED

Experience Requirements:

- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

- Bi-lingual preferred.

- Referral/authorization process and interacting with insurance carriers is Required.

License/Registration/Certification:

- Basic CPR certification Preferred
