Southwest Kidney Institute (SKI), a full service kidney disease management organization with offices through-out Arizona has an opening for an experienced Director of Clinical Operations with responsiblitiy to oversee, manage, direct, administer and supervise assigned clinical services, functions and operations of medical practices throughout central and southern Arizona.
As our Director of Clinical Operations, you will determine compliance to established processes and procedures, provide guidance and direction in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: -- Oversight, management and supervision of clinical and office functions involving patient care, office operations, facilities and other assigned areas -- Review, analysis, assessment and evaluation of long-term and day-to-day operations and functions to determine efficiencies and effectiveness of services provided -- Identifation, recommenation and/or implementation of changes to practices, procedures, policies and/or other functions -- Analyis of operations to determine compliance with clinical standards of patient care -- Assessment, evaluation, development, creation and/or conducting of training programs in assigned areas of responsibility -- Serve as liaison and interface between Southwest Kidney Institute (SKI) staff, patients, family members, physicians and others having business with SKI -- Supervision, managment and monitoring of office and assigned medical staff -- Propose, develop, implement, monitor and determine staff compliance to policies and procedures -- Prepare, compile, develop and present a variety of regularly scheduled and/or ad hoc narrative, statistical and/or other reports and presentations -- Manage, oversee and work in complex filing systems -- Serve as a resource to staff in proving support and assistance -- Participate in the budget development, analysis, roll-out and monitoring of expenditures -- Create, present, manage and monitor operating budget -- Coordinate, work with and assist vendors, contractors and others -- Conduct statistical analysis and related tasks -- Travel through Arizona as required to accomplish assigned tasks in areas of responsibility Skills / Requirements
To be considered, you will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Operations, Management OR closely related field AND at least five (5) years of recent, relevant operations management and supervision responsibilities in a medical practice, hospital or similar health-care organization OR any equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable skills and experience will have been obtained.
Important Notes
Preference may be given to applicants with current, relevant clinical director of operations experience overseeing multiple medical practice site locations.
