Jobing Description
Scottsdale area non-medical companion service has an immediate opening for an experienced staffing coordinator.
You must have some experience staffing and scheduling 30 or more employees daily in a home health care or a home care personal service company.


Great position for people with experience and knowledge of the homecare industry, good people skills and ability to multi-task.

Daily Duties will include:
  • Determining the daily and weekly service needs of up to 50+ clients, then utilizing our "HomeTrak" scheduling system you will schedule the employees for the work week ahead.
  • Will be multi-tasking constantly, working telephones, problem solving, and dealing with employee/client scheduling issues.
  • Making decisions that will effect elderly clients and fellow employees.
  • Speaking directly with elderly clients to determine their service needs, sometimes on a daily basis.
  • Reporting to the Manager of Employee Relations and Client Services and work Monday - Friday.
  • It may be necessary to drive to a client home in order to do your job correctly. You will have to prioritize your workload daily.

    Some weekend work may be required when working as the Manager on Duty. You will assist as necessary with incoming calls regarding service and employees and effectively manage those issues that require your attention.

  • Skills / Requirements
  • MUST have first hand experience with staffing and scheduling within the home health or home care industry and preferably with a computerized scheduling system.
  • Must be a able to conduct yourself professionally and in a mature manor with an elderly client base.
  • Must be computer literate have first hand experience with staffing and scheduling within the home health or home care industry and preferably with a computerized scheduling system.
  • Should have strong customer service skills both in person and on the telephone. Additionally must be capable and experienced at making intelligent decisions that effect the lives of people on a daily basis.
  • You must have a car in good working order, a valid drivers license and insurance on your car.
  • Also must have proven capability to multi-task all day long.

    This is an important position to our company, as such you will be paid commensurate with your peers in our industry and will be eligible for a quarterly bonus. You must: Be able to get an Arizona issued Fingerprint Clearance Card (no criminal background, take and pass a pre-employment drug screen, get certified in First Aid and CPR and pass a TB screening with negative results.
