Job Description:
The Systems Analyst Senior performs professional work in the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of university endpoints that support Student Success Initiatives, Universal Learners, and many more technical initiatives. Provides support to users of university wide information technology tools. Work typically involves a combination of providing expert advice and troubleshooting on groups of software products or entire systems, assessing, planning for, and implementing new emerging technologies, administering and maintaining shared-user systems, communicating with users and user groups on technology topics, and providing instruction and guidance. You will contribute to innovation in endpoint management processes and procedures with a focus on automation. Essential Duties:
Provide quality customer service, consultation and training to university faculty, researchers and staff, under the direction of the University Technology Office.
Understand and respond appropriately to customer requests.
Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting methods and techniques across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with a technical team to evaluate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Responsible for responding to on-call alerts for urgent customer requests.
Foster cooperative work teams.
Create, update and maintain technical documentation.
Leading departmental projects.
Creating and implementing new processes and tools to improve and increase productivity.
Building operating system provisioning processes for Windows and macOS.
Creating and deploying applications for all supported platforms.
Administer and configuration of university Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro, and Intune instances.
Troubleshoot and manage university endpoint management resources.
Evaluate future endpoint management solutions and develop implementation strategies with a focus on automation.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field AND four (4) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Eight (8) years experience providing related information technology services, OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months of experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in providing customer service to a diverse customer base, preferably in an educational setting
Experience in scripting languages (E.g. PowerShell, Python, *nix Shell, Swift)
Experience with provisioning processes for Windows and macOS
Experience with automated device enrollment within a production environment
Experience with Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management
Experience in packaging, configuration, and installation for Windows/macOS using various methods
Experience in supporting Windows/macOS workstations in a multi-user environment
Experience in managing multiple servers based on Windows Server/macOS
Experience inproviding customer service to a diverse customer base, preferably in an educational setting
Experience in quality assurance testing of customer-facing applications and systems
Experience in supporting customers and computers in an enterprise networked environment using Active Directory, Group Policies, Ethernet and wireless
Experience in Windows 7 (ESU), 8.1, 10 (Insider, Semi-Annual and LTSC), Server 2012 R2+ and macOS (Latest)
Experience in supporting a 'Standard User' environment
Experience in IT troubleshooting procedures including PC hardware, hardware drivers, software, and operating systems
Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time
Evidence of effectively communicating effectively with both technical and nontechnical customers, written and verbal
Experience in system Center Configuration Manager and/or Jamf Pro endpoint management experience in a production environment
Experience in Microsoft Intune endpoint management experience in a production environment
Experience in stimulating changes in individual, institutional, and corporate behaviors to create a more sustainable environment
Experience in leading by example in communicating, participating and encouraging support of the institution’s sustainability programs

Working Environment:
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking.
Frequent physical demands may include working in cramped and close surroundings subject to exposure to electrical connections.
Use office equipment including a desktop computer.
Lift and push objects of varying weights up to 50 pounds.
Clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
Regular review of completed tasks.
