Description: PSA Art Awakenings is a psychosocial rehabilitation program in a therapeutic art studio environment.  Studios throughout Arizona offer therapeutic programs in a supportive setting to promote mental health, personal growth and recovery, vocational training, and physical wellness through creative activities. Job Summary 

 

The Artistic Behavioral Health Specialist will primarily provide psychosocial rehabilitation services and skill-building classes to adults in a supportive art studio environment.  Incumust be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

 

Qualification Requirements 

 Credentials/Education/Experience:

  • Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related human service field.

  • Relevant experience requirements may be decreased if the incumbent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related human service field

  • Art Therapy preferred but not required.

  • Experience in visual art making or music performance

  • Bilingual referred but not required

  • Experience with daily documentation, intakes, treatment plans and assessments

  • Excellent typing skills
