Job Description
The Senior Consultant - Payment Operations position in Unclaimed Property requires a motivated and eager individual who is detail oriented and can process multiple stale dated accounts while maintaining data integrity. This position is part of our Financial Payment Operations team which is fast paced and interacts with several areas of the company.
Must be able to reconcile general ledger accounts to check registers and have a good understanding of bank accounting. Must be willing to interact with other business areas and build strong relationships to ensure Finance has the accurate data available.
The senior consultant is responsible for stale dating unclaimed property in compliance with state escheatment laws. This includes large volume data clean up, posting journal entries and providing support for month end reconciling between SAP and our compliance software.
Position will provide back-up support to team members and assist with daily production tasks as needed.
Position will assist with audit request and documenting procedures. You will help define and implement department process improvements through innovation with the goal of producing operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in Finance or accounting
- Ability to support multiple priorities concurrently
- Self-Motivated
- Team Player
- Ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Finance Payment operations
- Ability to document and standardize processes
- Experience with SAP, RxClaim and resolution manager
- Strong MS Access skills including VBA and form building
- Strong Excel skills including Vlookup, pivot tables, macros and VBA for Excel.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or 2+ years of equivalent work experience for every year degree not completed.

Verifiable HS Diploma or GED required.
