Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·        Align business objectives with market-facing decisions for company products

·        Support the development of product vision with the business & technology leaders

·        Leads turning product visions into roadmaps, defines and prioritizes product requirements within releases. Considers implications and gaps in proposed solutions and models the expected system interactions prior to development

·        Owns clearly communicating the product vision to all stakeholders, including technical teams

·        Integrates broad working knowledge of and expertise in program management principles with insights and knowledge across related disciplines to create integrated technical solutions for complex business situations

·        Serves as lead resource for dealing with challenging business issues

·        Leads a team that develops user stories and acceptance criteria based on market research, ensures that what’s being delivered throughout each sprint aligns with what was imagined and solves the market problem

·        Collaborate with clients and colleagues to define, validate and prioritize business and system requirements that address valuable business problems

·        Owns the development of a strong, clear and documented understanding of the current system: features and capabilities

·        Ensures the PDT team proactively manages and prioritizes product backlogs according to business value, complexity, and expectations

·        Ensures the PDT team coordinate the preparation and prioritization of user acceptance criteria.

·        Ensures the PDT team write user stories, participate in agile sprint meetings, and provide oversight for a global agile scrum

·        Support the team in targeting accurate and timely milestone achievement

·        Be a stakeholder for the creation and delivery of effective training for stakeholders

·        Contribute to the ongoing improvement of agile processes

  • Responsible for ensuring that every requirement delivers quantifiable business value in relation to the market need
  • Capable of giving product demonstrations and presentations to clients
  • Responsible for internal and external client satisfaction of all delivered work
  • Ensures that the PDT team work effectively within the agile process, delivering what the technical teams need on a timely basis and at agreed to levels of quality
  • Ensures that business Service Level Agreements are defined and maintained. Communicates performance to the agreed service levels to business leaders

·        Manages expectations through clear and precise communication

·        Escalates issues/changes to the correct decision makers

·        Commits significant focus, energy and/or resources to reach a complex and challenging solution; actively looks for new methods or processes to achieve desired results

·        Identifies gaps and anticipates risks; takes action to connect parties, addresses risks and determines solutions

·        Reinforces culture of shared ownership in product progress and successful completion

·        Drives for optimal solutions that are simple and quickest way to value; prevents unsustainable complexity

·        Sees obstacles and challenges as opportunities

·        Instills a continuous improvement mindset focused on identifying waste, root causes of inefficiency and practical, incremental improvements

·        Seeks new information to learn about areas that will improve program or team effectiveness
