Description

Our client, a prominent industry leader, seeks an Human Resources Generalist for a full time opportunity. The Human Resources Generalist is directly responsible for day to day administration and coordination of the human resources functions. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the onboarding process and processing background screens, prepares and process new full-time paperwork.

Other duties for the Human Resources Generalist include but are not limited to:
* Provide day to day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions);
* Identify training needs and participate in the implementation of and monitoring success for training programs, following up to ensure training objectives are met.
* Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention;
* Handles employee relations counseling, separations, and exit interviewing;
* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation;
* Participates in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment

Requirements

Other requirements for the Human Resources Generalist include but are not limited to:
* 2+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing industry preferred;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Excellent consulting skills;
* Self-directed and motivated;
* Excellent client management and business literacy skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- HRIS
