UCP of Central Arizona provides comprehensive services to individuals with disabilities and their families by providing physical and developmental support as well as educational growth which is the foundation for independent living. “Life without Limits”

For over 60 years, United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) has been committed to change and progress for persons with disabilities. The national recognized agency was founded in 1949 by parents and friends of children with cerebral palsy. UCP now serves children with a wide range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, sensory processing disorders, genetic disorders, orthopedic disabilities, torticollis, birth defects, effects of in-utero drug or alcohol exposure, head injuries, developmental delay and other diagnoses that affect development. The UCP nationwide network consists of a central national entity, located in Washington D.C. and over one hundred independent, state and local non-profit affiliates. UCP is a leading source of information on cerebral palsy and is a pivotal advocate for the rights of all people with disabilities. UCP is one of the nation’s most efficient charities, with a system-wide average of 86% of all revenues going to programs.

Founded in 1952, the Central Arizona chapter of the nationally recognized agency has served as a private, non-profit health and human service organization for adults and children with disabilities and their families. UCP of Central Arizona serves more than 3,500 families each year. UCP of Central Arizona’s programming is designed to help children and adults reach their full potential and improve the quality of life of their family members.

UCP is committed to creating possibilities and nurturing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. To accomplish our vision, we’ve become a leader in providing therapies, independent living services, inclusive and integrated educational based programs, innovative social opportunities, and basic research. We also bring support to families as they face the daily challenges of raising a child with a disability and hope for Life Without Limits for their son or daughter.
